Prayers for Dan & Danita Taylor and family in Angola

North Creek supports Dan & Danita Taylor, missionaries in the African nation of Angola. Their three daughters are with them, and recently each of them became sick with malaria and typhoid. Our congregation is praying for healing for Anna (age 9), Abby (age 6), and Gabriella (age 4). Specific prayer request is that the girls will not suffer lasting or recurring effects of these diseases, and that Dan & Danita will be protected from these illnesses. Recent word is that all the girls have shown improvement over the past few days, so continue praying!

Freedom Sunday is coming to NCPC, March 13!

Someone recently wished for a Sunday morning at NCPC that is totally focused on mission. Last year we started an annual tradition of doing this on Freedom Sunday, dedicating the entire worship service to the God who sets the captives free.
http://www.freedomsunday.org/ features some of the aspects of North Creek's service in 2010 (sermon, bulletin,...); conversations have already begun in planning for Freedom Sunday this year!

Dropping in on Dinner at the Creek last Thursday, I ran into Robin Kruzik, helping out even though she lives in Oak Harbor now! (that's joyful commitment!)
